Welcome to Tivoli Homestay.

Your hosts and current owners, Andre Ferreira & Jan de Klerk bought the house in 2005.

This unique 5-level house, designed by Roger Walker to achieve maximum views of the surrounding areas, was built in 1973. A spa-pool overlooking the garden is available - perfect for relaxation after a day’s activities.

Enjoy a drink on the deck overlooking the port and the city of New Plymouth, or relax in the turret with a beautiful 360° view of the area.

Rooms

  • Tivoli Homestay offers you a choice of one of either three double bedrooms. All rooms are equipped with a television, coffee and tea-making facilities and also provided are robes in each cupboard.

    The Garden room has a double bed and private ensuite bathroom. The room provides a beautiful view over the garden and the port.

    The Africa room has a queen size bed. The room has a splendid view of Mount Taranaki. The bathroom is shared with the Asian room

    The Asian room has a queen size bed. This room has breathtaking views of the garden and the port. The bathroom is shared.

Local area

Tivoli Homestay is situated on top of the beautiful Mount Moturoa, the perfect place to get away from it all. Once inside, you can enjoy a 360° view, including Mount Taranaki, Mount Ruapehu, the White Cliffs, New Plymouth City and the coastlines facing Oakura or Port Taranaki.

Tivoli Homestay is a 15 min drive from New Plymouth Airport and only a 5 min drive to the CBD . Back Beach is a 10 min stroll from the comforting Homestay. For the more energetic, the famous 10km New Plymouth Coastal Walkway is within walking distance, which includes the New Plymouth Wind Wand and international award winning Te Rewa Rewa Bridge along its way.

Award winning restaurants are located close by on the Waterfront and in the City Centre area.

Also close by are Mount Taranaki and Mount Egmont National Parks.
