Discover a place where the city's skyline is your daily canvas. A cozy private room with a comfy bed, situated high above urban hustle, offers a tranquil retreat with a view that captivates and inspires, day and night, rain and shine.

Ok, after this trivial intro, it’s time for a human to speak: it’s just a lovely home in a city jungle, with the view that amazed everyone who has ever visited. It’s respectfully quiet and peaceful, and neighbours appreciate this.

Centrally located, just a few minutes’ walk away from the vibrant Karangahape Road / K Rd (famous for the queer scene), Queen St, Aotea Centre, and universities. Auckland Hospital and the Domain are also within a walking / scooting distance.

Your host has been renowned for his signature breakfast aka “Oats Pinacolada” and you could opt in and have it every morning of your stay for free (just say “OH YES” when asked). You could also opt out at your peril but note that it would be against the recommendation of other guests.

And yes, there’s a bathtub! Unwind after a day of exploration in a serene bathtub, adding a touch of indulgence to your relaxation routine.

You will share the bathroom with the host. You are free to use kitchen facilities as long as you clean it up afterwards.

• Convenient PUBLIC TRANSPORT options nearby
• Easy Access to the MOTORWAY
• PRIVATE PARKING space available: please enquire at time of booking to confirm

Meet your host - Michael

I am more of a thinker and rather introverted, and would be happy to engage with you in a meaningful conversation about life etc when time allows, but will respect it if you choose to just stay in your room and not socialize much.

I’ve been fortunate to travel and make friends worldwide. My unique life journey has taken me off the beaten track, from Europe to being an expat in the Middle East, to Southeast Asia, then Australia and NZ. Love trains and planes, spontaneous travel, and board games in my free time. Open minded about music and arts but Tina Turner and Cats the musical are my absolute favourites! Yes to wine with good company but a firm no to parties.
