Nestled on a tranquil street among other early cottages, this historic neighbourhood exudes character and a sense of yesteryear.
A very comfortable cosy but spacious cottage, ideal for a romantic weekend stay or two couples sharing a weekend in Christchurch. Easy walking access to centre 20 mins direct or via the river and new reserve promenade area about 30 mins. Pomeroys Pub a very English style with great food and Rainbow drinks evenings on some Thursdays. Their café on the corner Little Poms is also perfect for breakfast or a great coffee.
The cottage is only a 5 min drive to the only sauna/ cruise location in Christchurch.
You have the entire private use of the cottage no matter if you only need one of the two bedrooms. The outside laundry is shared if needed. One off-street car park but plenty of free parking on the street 24/7
There is a delightful little table setting at the entry for the morning sit in the sun or at the back of the property you are welcome to use the main outdoor table setting and BBQ.
The cottage is fully stocked with the basics for a warm welcome, coffee, teas, milk some dry stores so you can cook or go out or order delivery whatever you wish. Lots of great eateries close by.

I live in the attached townhouse behind but have my own path and entrance door I also have an office at the end of the driveway but it’s all very private and you won’t know I’m there unless you need a guide or some local info. I also have a country place, I go between both.
