Your host Ross loves sharing his home with guests. You’ll have a private room with queen bed, en suite (with a bath!) and access to a balcony, and the run of the generously-appointed apartment. There’s on-site parking, fibre broadband, a laundry if you need it, and a warm and sunny second balcony that’s ideal for late-afternoon drinks.

The apartment is three blocks from vibrant Ponsonby Road and 10 minutes walk from the gay nightlife hub of Karangahape Road. There is a huge variety of cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance and you’re also close to any number of bus routes, including several that take you to downtown Auckland.

5. Please note that this is a pet-free apartment and smoking of any kind is best out on the balcony.
6. Access to the living area is via a set of stairs; the apartment isn’t ideal for anyone dependent on a wheelchair.
7. If you’re into Leisure, Rufus, Thievery Corporation, Bob Moses or even a spot of classic Britpop, you’re guaranteed to be on the same vibe as your host.
