We are proud to be Gay Owned and Hosted, to have won the Travellers Choice award for the past 8 years and voted: Best of the Best and place in the top 10% of accommodations Worldwide - Bayview Valley Lodge is located on 3000 m2 of land at the end of a long and private driveway, making this a very peaceful location away from the main street and backing onto DOC Land (Department of Conservation) surrounded by local wildlife. 

The entire Lodge and gardens offer wide and stunning views of the Wharekaho Valley and the Pacific Ocean by day and the Stars and the Milky Way by night. 

The Gardens are a delight in their design and nice to explore. All rooms in the Lodge have full ocean views. We have a new top of the range Hot Spa Pool with Waterfall and LED Lights set on the upper terrace, with 2 Loungers and a pair of Lovers Seats + 2 other seats, there is ample room for 6 and is the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. We offer a place where you can relax and enjoy the company of your gay hosts and fellow guests. We offer assistance with your daily tour plans to see the very best of our region and look forward to hosting you on your visit to Whitianga and the Coromandel Peninsula. We have 17 beaches within a 3 to 20 minutes drive from the Lodge, many are deserted and your gay hosts are more than happy to share these amazing places with you during your stay.

We have two suites, the Tui and the Kupe Suite, both offer full valley and ocean views with King Beds, contemporary in style and space to rest and relax.

The Tui Suite is our Premier Suite, located on the top floor, both tasteful in its design and individual in character, being a 2 roomed suite on the upper floor with Bedroom and Super King, TV with TV there is a separate Living Room with Service Centre for tea/coffee/fridge (Both Bedroom and Living Room have full Valley and Ocean Views). The Bathroom with Bath and Walk-in Shower, Vanity, and Toilet. The Tui Suite sleeps 2 in the bedroom and has a good sofa bed in the Living Room - Maximum Occupancy 4 Persons.

The Kupe Suite is located on the ground floor with its own private terrace, this suite has a King Bed, living area with TV and Netflix as well as a small table and chairs, there is an en-suite bathroom with Rain Shower, Vanity and Toilet. The Suite has Valley and Ocean Views.  There is Free Internet / WiFi / Fibre in all suites.

Weddings can be arranged as we have the perfect backdrop of the Upper Garden Terrace and the Pacific Ocean - David Hall is a Wedding Concierge and can offer to assist you in your planning.
