Autumn Farm is a unique and relaxing queer oasis set in the beautiful Golden Bay region.

We have a wide variety of accommodation options available to suit all budgets. These include comfortable lodge rooms, individual cabins, a dormitory/backpacker style bunkhouse and a campground with some powered sites available and plenty of space for your tent or campervan amid the tranquillity of our sub-tropical gardens.

Our guests are mostly queer and bi-curious men but we welcome all who respect our gay communal home. Autumn Farm is clothing optional and naturist friendly. We believe in living sustainably and we support our local businesses by purchasing directly from farmers and producers. Many friendly native birds live in our luscious environment of amenity, fruit and palm trees.

Set minutes outside of Takaka, at the far north-west of New Zealand's South Island, we are ideally located between the nearby Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks. Golden Bay and Autumn Farm have a well deserved reputation for the relaxed atmosphere and friendly people. There are heaps of adventure tourism options in the Bay including kayaking, horse treks and scenic flights, the beaches and rivers are pristine and great for swimming. We are in walking distance of some of the best and busiest river swimming spots.

  Our landscaped garden and multitude of buildings offer many spaces for such a celebration, rain or shine. Over the years we have hosted many gay and straight Weddings.

  We can accommodate 40 in-house guests and also have a campground. The Golden Bay region is full of exciting places to visit so your guests can have a holiday as well as attend your special event.
