Ashcott Homestead is a fully restored with modern facilities Category 2 Listed Historic Homestead built in 1856.
John and Giovanni and their two boys welcome you to their slice of paradise in the country and ensure your stay will be relaxed and restful.
We are one hour south from Napier on Highway 50 in the beautiful Central Hawkes Bay wine growing countryside.
Ashcott Homestead was built by the Tucker brothers in 1856 and remodeled in 1905, then fully renovated in 2000 by new owners.
The upstairs was redecorated in 2016 to cater for B&B guests so has the modern conveniences you may require.
It once had a ballroom, now the formal sitting room and a billiards room, now the master suite, so is a family home downstairs, with guest rooms upstairs, so full privacy is catered for.
The grand entry hall will evoke ideas of the past and the formal dining room & guest lounge is the most original room with its paneled walls.
The homestead has 5 working fire places to create ambience and warmth in the cold winter nights.

Each room has TV, heating, electric blankets, bedding & towels, wifi and a private bathroom. The rooms all share a small lounge with table and chairs, couch and hot drink facilities, a fridge and a microwave for your use.

Location
Ashcott Homestead is on the south end of Highway 50. It is opposite Ashcott Road, once the 14km private drive of the homestead.
We are 1 hour from Napier , 45 min from Hastings, 20 minutes from Waipukurau and 10 minutes from Takapau.
